Last updated 31 August 2026

In the app, in three taps

  2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
  3. Confirm on the warning that appears.

Prefer us to do it?

Email info@3afya.health from the email address on your account, or send us the mobile number you sign in with, and ask us to delete it. We confirm your identity, delete the account, and email you when it is done — within 30 days, usually the same week.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account is permanent. It removes:

DeletedKept
Your account, name, mobile number and email Nothing that identifies you. We keep anonymous, aggregate counts (for example, how many accounts exist) that cannot be traced back to you.
Every family profile you created
All health records: visits, prescriptions, lab results, diagnoses, allergies, conditions, medications, reminders, vaccinations and measurements
Every document and photo you uploaded, including the stored files
Your emergency contacts and any sharing links you created
Your conversations with the AI assistant

We keep no shadow copy. Encrypted backups roll off within 30 days, after which the data is gone from those too.

Two things worth knowing first

  • It cannot be undone. If you want your records, save or share them before you delete.
  • Profiles you share with family. If you invited someone to a profile you created, that profile is deleted with your account. If someone invited you to their profile, deleting your account only removes your access — their records stay with them.

Deleting only part of your data

You do not have to delete the whole account. Inside the app you can delete an individual record, document, medication or family profile at any time, and it is removed the same way.
